Kemeta has developed a unique, compact breath analyzer to provide individuals on a weight loss regimen rapid and accurate feedback regarding their fat metabolism using breath acetone as the body’s biomarker.

The company name, Kemeta, is derived from KEtone and METAbolism.  Kemeta is a privately held, limited liability company headquartered in Mesa, Arizona. Our facility has a fully equipped, state-of-the-art R&D laboratory to develop, commercialize and expand Kemeta’s products and technology.  

The base technology used in Kemeta’s novel compact breath analyzer was originally developed at Dow Chemical’s research lab in the late 1990’s. Kemeta purchased the breath acetone sensing technology in 2007. Product introduction is planned for 2009.

Kemeta has a broad intellectual property portfolio specific to bioinformatics, breath acetone applications, design and general utility.
