Our product concept is simple: by exhaling a single breath into the breath analyzer, the user receives accurate positive daily feedback on their fat burn rate and thus the performance of their daily diet and fitness regimen.

Kemeta has a patent-pending technology that senses a by-product of burning body fat--breath acetone. The base technology was originally developed by The Dow Chemical Company.

By sensing acetone, Kemeta detects fat burn only. This is unlike weight which can be influenced by fluid and muscle mass fluctuations. These interferences are common pitfalls of using the bathroom scale.

Kemeta is in the product development stage of commercialization and is currently engaged in clinical testing at the Obesity Treatment Center Medical Group in Sacramento, CA under the management of Dr. John Hernried.
